Fiesta de Fin de Año en Uptown Station - “Es la medianoche en algún lugar!”

Fort Walton Beach, Fl—Uptown Station en patrocinio con el Uptown Shopping District y Cox Media anfirtrionaran “Medianoche en algún lugar” este 31 de Diciembre a las 6pm.
     La tarde comienza con música en vivo con Playground Big Band quienes tomaran el escenario a las 2pm por la duración del evento.
     Habrá comida disponible por el restaurante A La Carte que recientemente abrió en Uptown Station, Wine World Outlet tendrá bebidas festivas para niños y adultos.
     También habrá una apariencia especial por SpongeBob SquarePants a cortesía de Cox Media. Los niños podrán tomarse fotos con SpongeBob.
     La intención de la actividad es el ser una celebración de Fin de Año adecuada para que la familia completa evitando el que se acuesten muy tarde.  A las 6pm, que es la medianoche en la zona GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) o UTC (Tiempo Universal Coordinado) punto origen del tiempo. El nuevo año será marcado al caer la bola del asta más alta de la Florida (170’).    
     Una inmensa bola iluminada de 15' en diámetro se está construyendo para el evento del Uptown Station por el equipo de jardinería especialmente para el evento.
     La bola caerá a las 6pm acompañada por fuegos artificiales en la pantalla gigantesca del Uptown Station Central Park.

New Year’s Eve Party at Uptown Station - “It’s Midnight Somewhere!”
Fort Walton Beach, FL—Uptown Station is partnering with the Uptown Shopping District and Cox Media to host a “It’s Midnight Somewhere” event on December 31st at 6pm.
     The afternoon will commence at 2pm with live music on stage from the Playground Big Band who will provide entertainment all afternoon.
     Food will be available from the A La Carte Restaurant, who have recently opened in Uptown Station, and holiday beverages for adults and children will available from Wine World Outlet.
     There will be a special appearance by Sponge Bob Square Pants, courtesy of Cox Media, and kids will be able to have their photos taken with Sponge Bob.
     The afternoon is aimed at being a ‘Kid Friendly’ New Year’s Celebration to enable the whole family to celebrate without having to stay up too late.  There will be Ball Drop from the top of Florida’s Tallest Flagpole (170’) at 6pm - which is Midnight GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) or UTC (Coordinated Universal Time), the point from which all time is regulated.
     A huge 15’ in diameter illuminated ball is being constructed by Uptown Station’s Landscape Team specially for the event.
     The ball drop (AT 6PM) will be accompanied by fireworks on the giant screen at Uptown Station’s Central Park.
