La Hispanic Action Society Tiene Una Nueva Presidenta
El pasado 23 de julio en el Centro de Recursos Hispanos, (Hispanic Resource Center), se llevo a cabo la elección de la nueva junta directiva de la Hispanic Action Society HAS.
     Por mayoría de votos se eligió a la nueva Presidenta Kisha Rodriguez, originaria de Puerto Rico, quién dijo estar muy entusiasmada, y feliz de tomar el cargo como nueva presidenta electa de la Hispanic Action Society, HAS ya que cuenta con muchas ideas nuevas que realzaran y unirán mas a todos los hispanos y demás culturas en una misma familia de toda el área de la Costa del Golfo, expresó Rodriguez .
     También se eligió a la nueva vice-presidenta Janet Sanchéz, de Pueto Rico, Patricia DuMond, de Honduras Secretaria, George, Sanguillo Tesorero, de Florida María Sanguillo, Primera Vocal de Puerto Rico y Ángel Gonzales, Segundo Vocal, la nueva junta directiva manifestó su agrado y compromiso para dar una nueva imagen a la Hispanic Action Society, ellos están muy motivados de poder formar parte de la nueva directiva y han prometido apoyar a la nueva presidenta electa.
     Después de la elección miembros y el personal de la nueva junta directiva degustaron de algunos platillos típicos “Latinos”, y deliciosos postres, elaborados por los mismos miembros . Mientras comían y disfrutaban hablaron de muchos proyectos para el futuro y próximamente se reunirán en el Centro de Recursos Hispanos, el cual por ahora será su cede para sus reuniones, ya que también contarán con el apoyo de la presidenta del Centro de Recursos Grace Resendez McCaffery en el área de publicidad y otras.
     HAS es una organización sin fines de lucro fundada alrededor de 25 años en Pensacola, Florida y ha servido a muchas personas del área del Golfo y sus alrededores. Así que la nueva junta directiva seguirá trabajando en su plan maestro para los próximos eventos Sociales, familiares, y actividades recreativas. La nueva junta directiva pronto anunciara sus actividades y agenda para los siguientes meses de este año.

Hispanic Action Society Has a New President
On July 23 The Hispanic Action Society (HAS) had elections for their new board. The elections were held at the Hispanic Resource Center..
     Kisha Rodriguez was elected the New President of HAS. Janet is originally from Puerto Rico. She has many new ideas that she wants to share with HAS. One of her main goals is to unite all Hispanics and other cultures of the Gulf Coast area into one family. She is honored to take on the role as president of HAS.
     Also elected: new vice-president, Janet Sanchez from Puerto Rico; Secretary, Patricia DuMond, from Honduras; Treasurer, George Sanjillo from Florida ; First Trustee, Maria Sanjillo from Puerto Rico; and Second Trustee, Angel Gonzales; from Florida. The New Board Members expressed their appreciation and commitment in order to give a new image to the Hispanic Action Society. They are highly motivated to be part of the new board, and have pledged support to the new president.
     After the elections the Mmembers and the staff shared some Hispanic snacks and delicious dessert prepared by the same members. While they were eating, they talked about many future projects, and soon they will meet again at the Hispanic Resource Center, which for now will be its headquarters for meeting.
     HAS is a nonprofit organization founded around 25 years ago in Pensacola, Florida. It has served many people from the Gulf Coast area and its surroundings. The new board will continue working on their master plan for the coming social events, family gathering and recreations activities. The new board will soon announce their upcoming events and agenda for the remaining months of the year.
