Restos Esqueléticos Encontrados en la Costa de Florida
El domingo 13 de octubre, la oficina de aguacil del condado Gulf recibió una llamada de parte de una familia hospedándose en una casa flotante cerca del Lago Wimico. Según caminaban en la orilla del agua, uno de los miembros de la familia descubrió en par de pantalones con una correa. Mientras examinaban los pantalones un hueso humano salió del artículo de ropa.
    Aproximadamente 20-30 huesos adicionales todo apareciendo ser humanos fueron recuperados por investigadores del Gulf County Sheriff’s Office y el Fish and Wildlife Conservation.
     Los huesos han sido entregados al la oficina de los examinadores médicos para estudios adicionales. Varios artefactos también fueron encontrados, un centavo (Indian head), un botón, una pipa y una ficha de la tienda L.W. Lyons Clothing de Nueva Orleans- tienda que existió del 1856 al 1960 de acuerdo al American Numismatin Association.

Skeletal Remains Found Along Florida Shoreline
On Sunday, October 13, the Gulf County Sheriffs Office received a call from a family staying on a houseboat near Lake Wimico. While wading in the water along the shoreline, a member of the family discovered a pair of pants with and a belt. While examining the pants, human bone fell out of the article of clothing. Approximately 20-30 additional bones all appearing to be human were recovered by Gulf County Sheriff’s Office and Fish and Wildlife Conservation investigators.
The bones have been turned over to the medical examiners office for further study. Several artifacts were also found including an Indian head penny, a button, a pipe, and a company store token from L.W. Lyons Clothing store in New Orleans—a store that existed from 1856-1960 according to the American Numismatic Association.
