Perdí mi titulo del carro de Alabama. ¿Cómo puedo conseguir un duplicado?

Si eres indocumentado, es bastante complicado conseguir uno desde que pasaron la nueva ley de Inmigración en Alabama. La única manera de hacerlo, es declarando el carro como abandonado.
     Para que un carro pueda ser considerado abandonado de acuerdo a la ley tiene que tener un record limpio de actividad por los últimos seis meses; esto significa, no renovaciones, no tickets, no hipotecas, etc.
     Segundo, necesitas una tercero con estatus legal en Estados Unidos que inicie el proceso. El proceso incluye pedir record del carro al estado de Alabama, notificar a todas las partes correspondientes y listar el carro como abandonado por dos semanas en un periódico local. Al final del mes de haber iniciado el proceso, evidencias y recibos deben ser enviados al Departamento de Motores y Vehículos de Alabama el cual eventualmente emitirá un titulo a nombre del tercero.
     Una vez que el titulo este en manos del tercero, esto procede a venderte el carro y entregarte el titulo, el te permitirá registrar el carro en tu nombre en el estado que residas.

If you are an undocumented alien, it is quite cumbersome to get a duplicate of your Alabama Car title since the new Alabama Immigration Law was passed. The only way to get your title back if by declaring your car as abandoned.
     For a car to be considered abandoned according to the Alabama Laws, it must show zero activity for the last 6 month; this means, no tickets, no renewals, no liens, ect.
     Second, you need a third party to initiate the process. The process includes requesting car records from the Alabama DMV, notifying all involved parties and list the car as abandoned for two weeks in a local Alabama newspaper. After a month, all evidences should be submitted to the Departmet of Motor Vehicle which in place will issue a title in the name of the third party.
     Once the title arrives, the third party proceeds to sell the car to you allowing you to register the car in your name in the state your reside.
