Mujeres Hispanas traen Barra de Belleza a Pensacola

     Belleza, moda y ejercicio han sido traídos a Pensacola en la forma de una barra, por medio de dos mujeres Hispanas.
     Bonnielee Cuevas, Puertorriqueña-Dominicana, con su hermana Jandy Tineo, Dominicana, abrieron  Pink Couture Life Headquaters y Beauty Bar en el downtown de Pensacola el 2 de agosto.
     “Llevo ya 10 años en la industria de belleza, moda y ejercicio,” Cuevas comentó. “Yo quería abrir un sitio original y divertido donde las mujeres pudieran venir a sentirse bien y poder fortalecerse. “
     La barra de belleza tiene un menú donde la clienta puede elegir el “look” que corresponde a un coctel y también recibe el trago complementario durante su sesión de maquillaje.
     “Por ejemplo, el Cosmopolitan tiene tonos rosados y morados,” dijo Cuevas. “Te ensenamos como aplicar el maquillaje y después te llevas contigo algunos artículos clave para puede recrear ese “look” en casa.”
     Pink Couture Life también ofrece estile de moda, talleres, y Cuevas da clases de Zumba, a su vez de manejar una  revista digital con Tineo.
     “Uno de los nuevos servicio es belleza para llevar” dice Cuevas. “Por ejemplo,  bodas o eventos mayores, también vamos a sesiones de fotografías. Venimos y creamos el mejor estilo para ti”.
     Los precios para la sesión de belleza varían entre $30-$60, mientras que el estilar su vestimenta es $125. La barra de belleza opera solamente por citas de lunes a sábado.
     “Estamos contentas de estar aquí,” dice Cuevas. “No hemos encontrado muchos negocios de propietarios de minoría en el downtown cosa que nos hace ser únicas. Queremos dar una buena impresión y dar a conocer nuestra comunidad Latina.

Hispanic Women Bring Beauty Bar to Pensacola

     Beauty, fashion and fitness are brought to Pensacola in the form of a bar by two Hispanic women.
     Bonnielee Cuevas, Puerto Rican and Dominican, along with sister Jandy Tineo, Dominican, opened Pink Couture Life Headquarters and Beauty Bar in downtown Pensacola on Aug. 2.
     “I’ve been in the beauty, fashion and fitness industry for 10 years now,” Cuevas said. “I wanted to open something really unique and fun for women who can come and feel really great about themselves and empower them.”
     The beauty bar has a menu where the client can choose a look that corresponds to a cocktail and each client also receives a complimentary beverage during their makeup session.
     “For example, the Cosmopolitan has pink and purple hues,” Cuevas said. “We teach you how to put the makeup on, we put the makeup on you and you get to take a few key pieces home with you so you can create the look at home.”
     Pink Couture Life also offers fashion styling, workshops, and Cuevas also teaches a Zumba class, along with managing a digital magazine with Tineo.
     “One of the new services we are offering is beauty on-the-go,” Cuevas said. “For example, for weddings or major events, we also do the photo shoot. We’ll come out and create the looks for you.”
     The beauty looks range in price of $30-60, while wardrobe styling is $125. The Beauty Bar operates by appointments only, available from Monday to Saturday.
     “We’re happy to be here,” Cuevas said. “We haven’t found a lot of minority owned businesses downtown, so that’s kind of the unique tidbit about us. We want to bring a good impression and bring out our Latin community as well.”
