Espectaculares Fuegos Artificiales de Pensacola Beach, Zambullida Disparatada de Oso Polar para la Bienvenida del 2013
Pensacola Beach, FL—Celebre el Año Nuevo al verdadero estilo de Pensacola Beach con un fabuloso espectáculo de fuegos artificiales de medianoche sobre el Golfo de México y una refrescante zambullida al estilo oso polar al día siguiente.
     La celebración de fuegos artificiales comienza al filo de la medianoche con explosiones atronadoras y bellos colores lanzados desde el muelle de Pensacola Beach. Se les invita a las familias a traer mantas y sillas de playa, y disfrutar de una hermosa noche de celebración.
     Shelley Johnson, presidenta de la Cámara de Pensacola Beach, sugiere que el evento sea un completo y memorable día de celebración.
"Explore Fort Pickens, tome un paseo en bicicleta por el camino y construya un castillo de arena en nuestra hermosa playa. También tenemos algunos buenos restaurantes con espectáculos en vivo para que pueda disfrutar de una noche fantástica antes de las fiestas de medianoche," dijo Johnson.
     La emoción del Día de Año Nuevo continúa a las 2 pm en el Paradise Bar and Grill con la Zambullida Disparatada de Oso Polar. Se les insta a los participantes a que se vistan con disfraces y que traten de impresionar a los jueces con zambullidas espectaculares. Habrá muchas oportunidades de alentar a su zambullidor favorito y de disfrutar de una gran tarde de entretenimiento familiar. Incluso los niños están invitados a participar en el Club de Osos Polares y desafiar las frías aguas. ¿No es genial?
    La inscripción para la inmersión se llevará a cabo desde el mediodía hasta las 2 PM. La cuota de inscripción para participar es de $ 7 para adultos e incluye una porción de guisantes de ojo negro para la buena suerte y dos entradas elegibles para sorteos de premios. La cuota de inscripción para los niños que asisten a quinto grado (y menores) es de $ 5 e incluye una tarjeta de socio al Club de Osos Polares y una bolsa de regalos.
     Después de las zambullidas, habrá un sorteo y entrega de premios. Un premio trascendental se le dará a las tres mejores vestimentas más creativas para la zambullida.

Celebrate the New Year in true Pensacola Beach style with a fabulous Midnight fireworks display over the Gulf of Mexico, and a refreshing Polar Bear Plunge the next day.
    The fireworks celebration begins at the stroke of Midnight with thunderous explosions and beautiful colors launched from the Pensacola Beach Pier. Families are encouraged to bring beach blankets and chairs, and enjoy a beautiful evening of celebration.
     Shelley Johnson, Pensacola Beach Chamber Chairman, suggests making the momentous event a full day of celebration.
     “Exploring Fort Pickens, take a leisurely bike ride on the path and build a sandcastle on our beautiful beach. We also have some great restaurants with live entertainment so you can enjoy a fantastic evening prior to the Midnight festivities,” said Johnson.
    The excitement continues at 2 p.m. New Year’s Day, with the zany Polar Bear Plunge at Paradise Bar and Grill. Participants are encouraged to wear a costume and try and impress judges with a spectacular plunge. There is plenty of opportunity to cheer for your favorite plunger and enjoy a great afternoon of family entertainment.
     Even the kids are invited to participate in the Polar Bear Cub Club and brave the chilly waters. How cool is that?
     Registration for the Plunge will be held from Noon to 2 p.m. The entry fee to participate is $7 for adults and includes a good luck portion of black-eyed peas, and two tickets eligible for prize giveaways. The entry fee for kids attending fifth grade and under is $5 and includes a Polar Bear Cub Club membership card and a goodie bag.
     Following the plunge, there will be an awards ceremony and prize drawings.
A momentous award will be given to the top three entries with the Most Creative Plungewear.
