Estudiantes Recogen Ropa para Compañeros
Él Capitán Carlos R. Espinoza, un senior en Pensacola High School (PHS) con el programa JROT de la Fuerza Aérea, organizó una recolección de trajes para el Baile Militar del 28 de enero. Ellos pidieron trajes de baile, zapatos, accesorios, cosméticos, tuxedos (smoking), trajes, etc. Espinoza decidió continuar la recolección para ayudar a los estudiantes para el prom.
     Hay sitios de recolección en la oficina a la entrada de Pensacola High School; Pensacola State College, Building 5, Room10; oficinas de Cat Country 98.7 en 7251 Plantation Rd., Pensacola, 32504, y hay una caja adicional de recolección en la Public Affairs Office onboard en NAS, Pensacola.
     Donaciones en efectivo son aceptables y serán usadas para comprar vestidos y tuxedos usados o trajes para los que los necesiten.
     Los cheque deben de ser hechos pagaderos a: Pensacola High School y en la linea de Memo deben de decir, ''For the use of the AF JROT fund''. La dirección para los envios de dinero es: Miss Byrd, Pensacola High School Bookkeeper, 500 W. Maxwell Street, Pensacola, 32501. Miss Byrd le enviará un recibo deductible para los impuestos por su donación.
     Ellos piden que la ropa formal esté limpia, aplanchada y lista para ser usada porque ellos no tienen fondos para limpiado en seco (dry cleaning). Si fuera posible dejar la ropa en las perchas seria mucho más fácil para guardarlos y mantenerlos en una condición óptima.

Prom

Capt. Carlos R. Espinoza, a senior at Pensacola High School (PHS) with the Air Force JROTC program, organized a clothing drive for their Military Ball which was held on Jan 28. They asked for ball gowns, shoes, accessories, make up, tuxedoes, nice suits, etc. Espinoza decided to continue the clothing drive to assist students for prom. The drop off locations for clothing are in the front office at Pensacola High School; Pensacola State College, Building 5, Room 10; Cat Country 98.7 business offices at 7251 Plantation Rd, Pensacola 32504, and there is an additional drop box at the Public Affairs Office onboard NAS Pensacola.
Cash donations are accepted and they will be used to buy second hand dresses/tuxedos or suits for anyone who is still in need. Checks should be made payable to: Pensacola High School and in the memo line it should say, "For the use of the AF JROTC fund". The address to mail monetary donations to is: Miss Bryd, Pensacola High School Bookkeeper, 500 W. Maxwell Street, Pensacola, 32501, Miss Byrd will send you a tax deductible receipt for your donation. They ask that all of the formal wear is clean, pressed and ready to be worn because they do not have a dry cleaning budget. If it would be possible for the clothing to be left on the hangers it will be much easier for us to store and keep it in pristine condition.
