Gulf Coast Latina Prepárase para Nuestra Belleza 2013
     Hamizadai y su familia piden el apoyo de la comunidad  para Nuestra Belleza Latina 2013 porque ella es un ejemplo de perseverancia y valentia.
     Hamizadai Fereira, nació en Maracaibo, Venezuela el 30 de Marzo,1987.  Tiene 5 hermanos. Vivió ahi hasta 1998 cuando se mudó a Puerto Rico, donde vivió en diferentes ciudades debido al trabajo de su  padre.  Continuó sus estudios en Puerto Rico en donde vivió su adolescencia aún cuando luchó con una condición de salud delicada, diabetes tipo 1
     Ella siempre demostró ser fuerte, determinada, valiente y muy luchadora.   Asi empezó sus estudios   Especializados en Cosmetologia y Peinados.  Su primer trabajo fué como secretaria de la compañia de construcción de su padre. También trabajó en un salón de belleza en Guaynabo, Puerto Rico.
     A los 17 años tuvo su primer hija.  Maduró muy rápidamente.  Con la ayuda de sus padres trató de obtener la mejor educación posibl para mejorar su calidad de vida y perseguir su sueño de modelaje y media  en Geneva, New York .  Vivió ahi 4 años, estudió inglés y audicionó para la televisión.
     En el 2007 su vida tomó un curso drástico.  De vacaciones en Puerto Rico, sus niveles de glicemia bajaron peligrosamente, tuvo que ser llevada la hospital, pero murió en los brazos de su madre. Fué revivida por un choque eléctrico.  Para sus padres fué una experiencia inolvidable y están orgullosos que esté bien y más fuerte que antes.
     Hamizadai se mudó a Destin Fl. y pronto empezó preparaciones para asistir a una audición para Nuestra Belleza.  Pero sus preparaciones fueron interrumpidas cuand tuvo su  segunda hija y su condición médica fué más complicada. La niña fué prematura y nació con riñones inflamados y una condición cardíaca.  El bebé no podia comer por si sola y pasó 3 meses en cuidados intensivos donde sus padres la visitaban varias veces al dia. El bebé fué a casa pero con una máquina con un tubo alimenticio.  Hamizadai rápidamente aprendió todo sobre la condición de su hija para poder darle el mejor cuidado en casa.
     Hoy, Hamizadai y su hija se están recuperando cn la ayuda de Dios, sus padres, su familia y amigos cercanos.
     Hamizadai está una vez más preparándose para ser Nuestra Belleza Latina 2013.  Su familia la apoya y creen que ella califica porque es capaz de luchar con cualquier cosa que se le presente.  Ellos dien que ella tiene el valor y fortaleza y sus prioridades son dar a sus hijas un buen futuro, empezando por enseñarles que Latinas son luchadoras valientes.

Gulf Coast Latina Preparing for Nuestra Belleza 2013

     Hamizadai and her family are asking for the community’s support for Nuestra Belleza Latina 2013 because she is an example of perseverance and bravery.
     Hamizadai Fereira, was born in Maracaibo, Venezuela on March 30, 1987. She has five brothers. She spent her childhood there until 1998 when she moved to Puerto Rico where she lived in different cities because of her father’s work. She continued her studies in Puerto Rico where she enjoyed her teenage years even though she battled a delicate health condition, diabetes type 1.
     She always proved to be strong, determined, brave and very feisty, and thus began her college studies in Specialized in Cosmetology and Hair Styling. Her first job was as a secretary for her father’s construction company. She also worked in a beauty salon in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico.
     At 17 years old, she had her first child. That’s when Hamizadai made the decision that led her to mature very quickly. With the help of her parents, she tried to get the best possible education to improve their quality of life and follow her dream to enter into the field of modeling and media in Geneva, New York. She lived there for four years where she took English classes and participated in auditions for the television.
     In 2007 her life took a drastic course. While on vacation in Puerto Rico, her blood sugar levels dropped dramatically and had to be rushed to the hospital. The episode was so strong that she died in her mother's arms while en route to the hospital, but was given electroshock to revive her. Her parents say that was an unforgettable experience, and are proud that their daughter is alive and stronger than ever.
     Hamizadai, moved to Destin, Fla. and soon after began preparations to audition in Nuestra Belleza. Her preparations were interrupted when she became pregnant with her second child and her medical condition was complicated. The child was born early and with complications of inflamed kidneys and a heart condition. Hamizadai’s baby was not able to eat by mouth and spent almost three months in Intensive Care where her parents visited her several times a day. Baby was finally released to go home but with a machine that is used to feed directly into the stomach with a tube. Hamizadai quickly learned all that she could about her daughter’s condition so that she could give her the best care that she could at home.
     Today, Hamizadai says that her daughter is recovering favorably with the help of God, her parents, relatives and close friends.
     Hamizadai is once again preparing to become Nuestra Belleza in 2013. Her family is supporting her and believe she is qualified because she is able to deal with anything that comes her way. They say she has strength and courage, and her priority is giving her daughters a good future starting by teach them that Latinas are strong fighters.
