El actor Cubano-Americano, Chaz Mena, va a aparecer en el escenario Mobile Saenger como Don Bernardo Galvez
     Chaz Mena actor de Nueva York, de decendencia cubana traera al escenario del teatro Saenger como Don Bernardo de Galvez, ex governador de Luisiana durante la guerra revolucionaria, quien ayudo las colonials vencer a Los Britanicos, en "Yo Solo" Durante un actuacion publica el Sabado 22 de Setiembre a las 8 p.m.  "Yo solo" complementa perfectamente al Memory Project, mienra Chaz se enfoca en las exploraciones de Galvez desde Baton Rouge hasta Mobile Alabama antes de solidificar las contribuciones Espanolas a la Revolucion Americana en la batalla de Pensacola.
     Esta obra representa la colanoracion por primera vez del CLA ( Centre for the Living Arts), la Orquestra Sinfonica de Mobile y El Nuevo museo de arqueologia de la Universidad de South Alabama. Miembros del OSM proveera musica para acompanar la obra. Seguidente Chaz acompanara a un panel de estudiosos, incluyendo al Dr. Gregory Waselkov de la universidad de south Alabama, Margo Stringfield de La universidad de West Florida y Larry B. James de State park service de Carolina del Sur.
     Los cuatro discutiran los contextos historicos y culturales envueltos en la creacion de esta obra, examinando la cultura local de Nueva Espana como evidencia mediante estudiosos arqueologicos.

Chaz MenaCuban-American actor, Chaz Mena, to take to the Mobile Saenger Stage as Don Bernardo de Galvez
August 27, 2012 - Mobile, AL - Chaz Mena, the New-York based actor of Cuban descent, will take to the Mobile Saenger Stage as Don Bernardo de Galvez, former Governor of Louisiana during the Revolutionary War who helped the Colonies defeat the British, in "Yo Solo/I Alone" during a public performance on Saturday, September 22nd at 8 p.m. "Yo Solo/I Alone" pays a perfect complement to the Memory Project, as Chaz will focus on De Galvez's exploits from Baton Rouge to Mobile before solidifying the Spanish contribution to the American Revolution at the Battle of Pensacola.
     This show represents the premiere collaboration between the CLA, The Mobile Symphony Orchestra and the University of South Alabama's new Museum of Archaeology.  Members of the MSO will provide musical accompaniment for the show. Afterwards Chaz will join a panel of scholars, including Dr. Gregory Waselkov, Director of the Archaeology Museum from the University of South Alabama, Margo Stringfield from the University of West Florida Archaeology Institute and Larry B. James of the South Carolina State Park Service.  The four will discuss the historical and cultural contexts involved in developing the show by examining the local cultures of New Spain as evidenced by archeological research.
