Sacred Hear Ofrecerá Exámenes Gratis de Salud en Febrero
Sistema Sacred Heart Health ofrecerá exámenes gratis de salud para el corazón en Pensacola, Jay, Springs DeFuniak y Orange Beach, Alabama, en Febrero. Una ubicación en Pensacola se dedicara a pruebas gratis de densidad ósea para la detección de la osteoporosis.
      Los exámenes de la salud del corazón miden la presión arterial, azúcar en la sangre y el colesterol total y para la detección de la anemia. Estas pruebas son útiles en el diagnóstico de las condiciones que ponen a las personas en alto riesgo de ataque cardiaco, apoplejía, diabetes y otros problemas de salud.
      A continuación se presenta el calendario de Febrero para el personal de la misión en movimiento:

• Feb. 4, 9 - 11:30 a.m.: YMCA, 410 N. Palafox St., Pensacola.  Exámenes de salud del corazón / Heart-health screenings.
• Feb. 9, 8:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.: Senior Spirit Health Fair, Sacred Heart Hospital Conference Centerb(5151 N. Ninth Ave., Pensacola). Solamente exámenes de densidad osea / Bone-density screenings only.
• Feb. 12, 9 - 11:30 a.m.: St. Mary Catholic Church, 401 Van Pelt Lane, Pensacola. Exámenes de salud del corazón / Heart-health screenings.
• Feb. 13, 9 -11:30 a.m.: Westwood Homes, 4400 Westover St., Pensacola. Exámenes de salud del corazón / Heart-health screenings.
• Feb. 16, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.: Arbours at Shoemaker Place, 214 Shoemaker Place, DeFuniak Springs. Exámenes de salud del corazón / Heart-health screenings.

Sacred Heart to Provide Free Health Screenings in February
Sacred Heart Health System will provide free heart-health screenings in Pensacola, Jay, DeFuniak Springs and Orange Beach, Ala., in February. One location in Pensacola will be dedicated to free bone-density testing for detection of osteoporosis.
     Heart-health screenings measure blood pressure, blood sugar and total cholesterol and to screen for anemia. These screenings are helpful in diagnosing conditions that put people at high risk for heart attack, stroke, diabetes and other health problems. 
     Following is the February schedule for the Mission in Motion staff:

• Feb. 4, 9 - 11:30 a.m.: YMCA, 410 N. Palafox St., Pensacola.  Exámenes de salud del corazón / Heart-health screenings.

     During the month of February, Sacred Heart's Mission in Motion staff will continue to work to enroll children in the Florida KidCare health-insurance program for income-eligible families of children from birth to age 18.
