Gulf Breeze abre sus puertas de la primera iglesia en español

La pared llena de lana Latina es una representación de las nacionalidades de los miembros de la iglesia. La Biblia ensena muchas lecciones; entre esas lecciones es compartir nuestra fortuna, amándonos unos a los otros y tener un día para la alabanza. 
     El domingo, miembros de la Primera Iglesia Bautista (FBC, por sus siglas en ingles) de Gulf Breeze pusieron lo que predican en práctica ayudando la Misión Casa. La iglesia abrió sus puertas para inaugurar el servicio del domingo en el santuario original de FBC.  
     Una gran apertura completa con el rostizo de un cerdo y una celebración, la única Iglesia que habla español cuenta con más de dos docenas de miembros, y espera seguir creciendo.
     El pastor de la Misión Casa Church, Gabriel Vargas, vino a América desde Colombia con su familia en 1999 para perseguir el “Sueño Americano” La familia Vargas eran miembros de La Primera Iglesia Bautista de Gulf Breeze donde Vargas también era un Diacono, donde el Señor hace 16 meses antes los llamo a la familia a abrir una iglesia que habla español en Gulf Breeze. Vargas empezó a tener servicio en el cuarto de canto de FBC y empezó a personalizar el cuarto para encajar a la cultura Latina.
     “Como una iglesia, concluimos que vivimos en una comunidad muy diversa,” dijo Spooneybarger. “No todos hablan el mismo idioma o alabamos lo mismo; no queríamos dejar a nadie afuera”
     Vargas dijo que cuando la gente no tiene que preocuparse sobre las palabras o las barreras de la lengua en la iglesia, se pueden enfocar más en el Espíritu Santo.
     El también hablo sobre en conforte de los miembros latinos de las  iglesia sienten al tener un espacio para alabar con gente de historias similares.
     La recién renovada iglesia está completa con un santuario para sermones y alabanza, y varios cuartos para estudiar la Biblia, congregación, etc.
     La iglesia también cuenta con un espacio presentado lana Latina.
     Actualmente solo hay unas cuantas piezas de lana, representando diferentes nacionalidades afiliadas con la iglesia, presentemente, pero Vargas espera que algún día la pared estará llena de memo biblia que incorpore el patrimonio de los miembros.   
     Los servicios de  Misio Casa Church son los Domingos de las 11 a.m.-12:30 localizada en 555 Fairpoint Dr., y son completamente en español.

The wall of Latino wool is a representation of the nationalities of the members of the church. The Bible teaches many lessons; among those lessons are to share one’s fortune, love one another and to put a day aside for worship.
     On Sunday, members of the First Baptist Church (FBC) of Gulf Breeze put what they preach to practice by helping the Mision Casa Church open its doors to its inaugural Sunday service in the original sanctuary of the FBC.
     A grand opening complete with a pig roast and celebration, Gulf Breeze’s only Spanish-speaking church boasts of over two dozen members, and hopes to continue growing.
     The pastor of Mision Casa Church, Gabo Varges, came to America from Colombia with his family in 1999 to chase the “American Dream.” The Varges family were members of the First Baptist Church of Gulf Breeze where Varges was also a Deacon, when the Lord called the family to open a Spanish-speaking church in Gulf Breeze about 16 months ago. Varges began holding church services in the FBC choir room until he began looking to personalize the room to fit the Latino culture.
     “As a church, we realized that we live in a very diverse community,” said Spooneybarger. “Not everyone speaks the same or worships the same; we didn’t want to leave anyone out.”
     Varges said when people do not have to worry about words and language barriers in church, they can focus more on the Holy Spirit.
     He also spoke of the comfort the Latino church members feel to have a space of their own to worship with people of similar backgrounds.
     The newly renovated church is complete with a sanctuary for sermons and worship, and several more rooms for Bible study, congregation, etc.
     The church also features a corner space featuring Latino wool.
     Currently only a few pieces of wool, representing the different nationalities affiliated with the church, are present, but Varges hopes the corner will one day be full of memorabilia embodying the members’ heritage.
     Church services for Mision Casa Church are held on Sundays from 11 a.m.-12:30 located at 555 Fairpoint Dr., and are held completely in Spanish.
