Cypress Hill to Perform in Pensacola By Josha Brown Pensacola—The Pensacola Bay Center will host the first multi-platinum Latino Hip-hop music group, Cypress Hill-along with 311 and G. Love and Special Sauce, July 24th. Tickets are on sale now at $44 for Floor seats and $36 upper section seats. Doors open at 6 p.m. Cypress Hill is the first Cuban-American/Latino Hip-hop music group to break platinum and multi-platinum with their 18 million records sold world-wide. Band members Sen-Dog, DJ Muggs, and B-real formed Cypress Hill in South Gate, California after Sen-Dog (Senen Reyes) immigrated to the United States from Cuba. With their unique sound consisting of high pitched vocals from B-real combined with the deeper, more violent raps from Sen-Dog the group has captured interest from all around the world. Performing alongside Cypress Hill will be G. Love and Special Sauce, a “sloppy” and “laid back” hip-hop band, and 311.
