Evento “Red, White and Drool” el Sábado en el Refugio Del Condado para Animales
Prepárate para el Evento de Adopción “Red, White, and Drool” en el Refugio para Animales de Condado de Mobile de las 10 a.m. a las 2 p.m. el Sábado en el refugio,  7665 Howells Ferry Road, a una calle al este de Schillinger Road. Grandes descuentos en adopciones serán ofrecidos con un micro-chip y una clínica de rabia.
     Atendiendo al evento de adopción de cuatro horas ira un recaudador de fondos junior con el nombre Charlotte, 8.5 años de edad, quien tendrá pastelillos para vender y recaudar fondos para el refugio.
     El costo por adopción será de $45 por perros y $30 por gatos. El cotos incluye el castra miento del animal, una vacuna para la rabia y una vacuna que es  5-en1. Normalmente, las adopciones cuestan $80 por perros y $70 por gatos, pero el refugio tendrá descuentos en adopciones durante el verano, con la ayuda de un patrocinador quien cubrirá parte de los costos.
     El refugio esta compitiendo desafío de adopciones de  $100,000 patrocinado por la Sociedad Americana Para la Prevención de Crueldad Hacia los Animales (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) y Rachel Ray. La meta es adoptar a 1,000 mascotas antes del 31 de Augusto. El refugio puede ganar de $5,000 a $100,000 si llegan a la meta. El dinero sería usado para comprar una van de adopciones y para mejorar el refugio.  .

 Red, White and Drool Event Set for Saturday at County Animal Shelter
Get ready for the Red, White & Drool Adoption Event at the Mobile County Animal Shelter set for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the shelter, 7665 Howells Ferry Road, one block east of Schillinger Road. Deep discounts on adoptions will be offered along with a micro-chip and a rabies clinic.
     Attending the four-hour adoption event will be a junior fundraiser by the name of Charlotte, 8.5 years old, who will be on site with baked goods to raise funds for the shelter.
     Cost of adoptions will be $45 for dogs and $30 for cats.  The cost includes spaying and neutering, a rabies shot and a 5-in-1 vaccination.  Normally, adoptions are $80 for dogs and $70 for cats, but the shelter is discounting adoptions through the summer, with the help of sponsors who are picking up some of the costs.
     The shelter is competing in a $100,000 adoption challenge sponsored by the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and Rachel Ray. The goal is to adopt out 1,000 pets before Aug. 31.  The shelter can win $5,000 to $100,000 if it meets its goal.  The money would be used to purchase an adoption van and for shelter improvements.
