Ataque de un Pitt Bull en Cantonment
     Oficiales respondieron al bloque 900 de  Brandemill Drive en referencia a un incidente con un animal. Dos Pitt Bull Terrier trataron de atacar a varios residentes los quienes pudieron retroceder a sus casas.  
 Los perros fueron al frente de la subdivisión donde atacaron y mordieron a dos trabajadores de un equipo de construcción de caminos. Los trabajadores pudieron defenderse usando herramientas. Los perros regresaron a la subdivisión donde un residente observe los ataques y se armó con una pistola.  Él fue en busca de los perros en su camioneta y vino en contacto con ellos en la intersección de Brandemill/Grand Oak Drives donde un hombre estaba caminado con su perro. Los perros se pusieron agresivos contra el hombre y su perro entonces el residente disparo hacia el aire, haciendo a los perros huir.  
     Un oficial hiso contacto con los perros en el bloque 900 block de Brandemill Drive. Cuando el oficial estaba saliendo de vehículo los perros corrieron en ataque desde un porche sercano. El disparo su escopeta en defensa propia dándoles y letalmente hiriendo a los dos perros. Los trabajadores sostuvieron heridas menores y fueron tratados y dados de alto. Los Servicios de Control de Animales del Condado de Escambia respondieron al incidente y lo están investigando. 

 

 Pit Bull Attack in Cantonment
     Deputies responded to the 900 block of Brandemill Drive in reference to an animal incident. Two Pit Bull Terriers tried to attack residents who were able to retreat into their homes.
The dogs went to the front of the subdivision were they attacked and bit two workers on a road construction crew. The workers were able to fend off the attack by striking the dogs with hand tools. The dogs retreated back into the subdivision where a resident observed the a ttacks and armed himself with a gun. He went searching for the dogs in his truck and came into contact with them at the intersection of Brandemill/Grand Oak Drives where a man was walking his dog. The dogs became aggressive towards the man and his dog so the resident fired his gun into the air, scaring off the dogs.
     A Deputy made contact with the dogs in the 900 block of Brandemill Drive. As he exited his vehicle the dogs charged him from a nearby porch. He discharged his shotgun once in self-defense striking and fatally wounding both dogs. The road crew workers sustained minor wounds and were treated and released. Escambia County Animal Control Services responded and is investigating the incident.
