Festival Navarre Artístico de Otono: 28 de Septiembre

Navarre Fall Arts Festival: September 28 The Navarre Fall Arts Festival will be held on Saturday and Sunday, September 28 and 29, 2013, from 10 am to 5 pm daily, in Navarre Park located on Hwy. 98 beside the Navarre Visitors Information Center. This year’s festival will have over 50 displays including arts and crafts, Florida Fresh food vendors, a beer and wine tent, and entertainment on the Sound Side Stage each day beginning at noon. Quite a selection of artist’s wares will include: paintings, prints, watercolors, artistic photography, jewelry, wind chimes, pottery, wreaths, wine glasses, sewn goods and other “artsy items”. Food choices include: Traditional hamburgers and hot dogs from the Knights of Columbus, Oriental foods, Gumbo and New Orleans style foods, Kettle Corn, Ice Cream, Sodas, and more. The Pirates on the Panhandle Social Club will be manning the Beer and Wine concession. Kicking things off on Saturday afternoon will be a great Blues/Rock Band, “Johnny Barbato and His Crazy Dogs”, followed by the panhandle favorites played by Lee Melton with tropical beach music. On Sunday, the Stage features all local fantastic local talent. A special feature for this year will be an art display from festival artists and a free raffle to promote the Santa Rosa Tourism Development Council. This raffle will give visitors an opportunity to choose a piece of artwork – or a special surprise gift from the community. Sponsors for this year’s festival are the Santa Rosa Medical Center, and the Santa Rosa County Tourism Development Council (SRTDC) along with local businesses. This event is coordinated by the Greater Navarre Beach Arts Association and the Pirates on the Panhandle Social Club. |
