FWB Jovenes Visitan Planta Local
Ft. . Walton Beach, FL- Los estudiantes de la clase inaugural de Young Entrepreneurs Academya (YEA!) patrocinado por la Greater Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce, fueron recientemente de visita a la planta de GS Gelato en Fort Walton Beach. GS Gelato hace gelato (una versión italiana del helado), yogur helado y sorbete. Esta fue la primera de varias visitas que los jóvenes empresarios harán durante todo el programa de 10 meses. La clase inaugural cuenta con 20 estudiantes, de entre 11 a 17 años, que representan 9 escuelas de la zona.
     Young Entrepreneurs Academya es un programa nacional con más de 70 sesiones en 30 estados. Programa YEA! El es uno de los cinco en el estado de Florida. Es un esfuerzo por mentores a jóvenes empresarios entusiastas de la emoción y las realidades que enfrentan los que establecen y ejecutan las empresas de éxito .
     "Fue muy emocionante el visitar una planta de fabricación real y hablar con los propietarios, en particular sobre la importancia del control de calidad y ser un apasionado de lo que cree", dijo Amanda Randolph, uno de los participantes del programa.
     GS Gelato propietario Guido Tremolini hizo hincapié en que hay que amar lo que estás haciendo con el fin de hacerlo todos los días. Si no te gusta, usted no quedrá ir a trabajar!
     El YEA! Los estudiantes tendrán la oportunidad de celebrar en mesas redondas con una variedad de propietarios de negocios en la zona y aprender, de primera mano, los puntos más finos de éxito empresarial. Si las empresas locales y los empresarios están interesados ​​en ayudar al mentor de estos estudiantes o patrocinan este emocionante programa - o invertir en algunas de las grandes ideas que se generan por estos jóvenes - todavía sigue habiendo oportunidades para participar.

Ft. Walton Beach, FL—Students from the inaugural class of the Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA!) sponsored by the Greater Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce, recently went on a tour of the G.S. Gelato plant in Fort Walton Beach.  G.S. Gelato makes gelato (an Italian version of ice cream), frozen yogurt, and sorbet. This was the first of several site visits that the young entrepreneurs will make throughout the 10-month program.  The inaugural class has 20 students, ages 11 through 17, representing 9 area schools. 
     Young Entrepreneurs Academy is a national program with more than 70 sessions in 30 states.  The local YEA! Program is one of only five in the state of Florida.  It is an effort to mentor enthusiastic young entrepreneurs in the excitement and the realities that face those who establish and run successful businesses. 
     “It was exciting to visit a real manufacturing facility and talk with the owners, particularly about the importance of quality control and being passionate about what you create,” said Amanda Randolph, one of the program participants.
     G.S. Gelato owner Guido Tremolini emphasized that you have to love what you’re doing in order to do it every day.  If you hate it, you won’t want to come to work!  
     The YEA! Students will have the opportunity to hold round table discussions with a variety of business owners in the area and learn, first-hand, the finer points of successful entrepreneurship.  If local firms and business people are interested in helping to mentor these students or sponsor this exciting program – or invest in some of the great ideas that will be generated by these young people – opportunities are still available to get involved.
