| OCSO Recupera Miles en Joyas Robadas Un esfuerzo conjunto de Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office Investigations, Road Patrol, la Street Crimes Unit y un ciudadano local ayudó a resolver un robo en Mary Esther que había sumado 18 mil dólares en joyas. La mayoría de los objetos robados el mes pasado en el 323 Page Bacon Road ya se han recuperado. Con la ayuda de un ciudadano, los investigadores fueron capaces de revelar a S. OCSO Recovers Thousands in Stolen Jewelry A joint effort by Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office Investigations, Road Patrol, the Street Crimes Unit and a local citizen helped solve a Mary Esther burglary that had netted 18-thousand dollars in jewelry. A majority of the stolen items from last month’s break-in at 323 Page Bacon Road have now been recovered. With the help of a citizen, investigators were able to develop S. Hall as a suspect in the burglary at Diamond Works around 5:18 the morning of December 20th. During the break-in, the business’s front window had been broken and multiple display cases were smashed. Several bags full of watches, wedding ring sets, and other jewelry had been taken. A man contacted the Sheriff’s Office December 23rd to say Hall had tried to sell him a large amount of jewelry and he later heard about the Diamond Works burglary. He immediately contacted law enforcement. Investigators were able to have the store owner positively identify several pieces the man had purchased from Hall. A warrant was issued for Hall for dealing in stolen property. Hall admitted breaking in to Diamond Works. |
