Space Open to Small Business Vendors in Pensacola Need a one-of-a-kind crocheted hat or a new Mary Kay connection? The Southeastern Teen Shakespeare Company is offering their space to local small-business vendors for a once-a-month open market. The third Saturday of each month from9:30 a.m. until 3 p.m., local artists and specialty vendors will converge at 1010 N. 12th Avenue, Suite 211 (East Tower) with everything from homemade baby bonnets to handmade candles and jewelry, to national brands like Younique and Tupperware. Vendors may register to participate on February 21, March 21 and/or April 18 by email to director@setsco.org. “We have a little bit of everything,” said Expo Coordinator Sharon Posey, whose Posey Hand Made corner is a staple at these events. “Our goal is to give local people who are trying to get their businesses off the ground a place where they can meet other vendors as well as connect with people in the community who seek out folks in business for themselves.” Posey makes all of her creations by hand and is happy to take special orders. Other vendors include Lila Rose hair accessories, Sassy Southern Diva, From Head to Tutu, Jamberry, Jewelry in Candles, Scentsy, Origami Owl, Rodan + Fields, Handmade Candles by Susan Smallwood, Southern Girl Sassy Bows, Lisa’s Loving Lines, Embroidery by Temple Kinley, Premiere Designs Jewelry, Twice Stitched, and Avon. January’s event also featured local recording artist Jeff Glickman playing live and selling CDs and local author Michelle Hancock signing copies of her novel. The Southeastern Teen Shakespeare Company provides baked goods for sale, and all proceeds go directly to support the work of the teen company. The Southeastern Teen Shakespeare Company is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing teens in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties with instruction and performance opportunities that lead to their significant growth as artists, community members, and human beings.
