MLS Enfrentará al Tottenham en el All-Star Game el 2015
Nueva York, NY—La MLS anunció el miércoles que el club Inglés Tottenham Hotspur de la Premier League será el rival de la liga en la edición 2015 de la MLS All-Star Game(juego de las estrellas) de la MLS.
     El All-Star Game se llevará a cabo el 29 de julio en el Dick's Sporting Goods Park, es el hogar de los Rapids de Colorado, y verá al Tottenham convertirse en el 10mo club internacional para asumir a los mejores jugadores de la liga nacional superior de los Estados Unidos.
     "El AT&T MLS All-Star Game sigue siendo una de las tradiciones más entretenidas y ampliamente esperadas por nuestra liga y para nuestro deporte en América del Norte", dijo el presidente de la MLS y comisionado adjunto, Mark Abbott en un comunicado. "Estamos muy contentos de dar la bienvenida a otro oponente de clase mundial como el Tottenham y esperamos un partido oficial y una tremenda semana de eventos. Sabemos que los Rapids de Colorado, uno de nuestros clubes de inauguración, será un gran anfitrion y que Dick's Sporting Goods Park impresionará tanto a los aficionados y a los espectadores del estadio y televisión en todo el mundo ".
     La MLS All-Stars han logrado un récord de 7-3-1 contra la competencia internacional con victorias que vienen contra las Chivas de Guadalajara, Fulham, el Celtic, West Ham United, el Bayern Múnich, y dos contra el Chelsea.
     Manchester United se llevó victorias sucesivas sobre la MLS All-Stars (2010 y 2011) por un marcador combinado de 9-2, mientras que el AS Roma asficcio al All-Stars, 3-1, en el año 2013.

MLS to face Tottenham in 2015 All-Star Game
New York, NY—MLS announced Wednesday that English Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur will be the league's opponent in the 2015 edition of the MLS All-Star Game.
     The All-Star Game will be held on July 29 at Dick's Sporting Goods Park, home of the Colorado Rapids, and will see Tottenham become the 10th international club to take on the best players of America's top domestic league.
     "The AT&T MLS All-Star Game continues to be one of the most entertaining and widely anticipated traditions for our league and for our sport in North America," MLS president and deputy commissioner Mark Abbott said in a statement. "We are excited to welcome another world-class opponent in Tottenham and look forward to a competitive match and a tremendous week of events. We know that the Colorado Rapids, one of our inaugural clubs, will be great hosts and that Dick's Sporting Goods Park will impress both the fans in the stadium and television viewers throughout the world."
     The MLS All-Stars have managed a 7-3-1 record against international competition with wins coming against the likes of Chivas de Guadalajara, Fulham, Celtic, West Ham United, Bayern Munich, and two against Chelsea.
     Manchester United claimed successive wins over the MLS All-Stars (2010 & 2011) by a combined score of 9-2 while AS Roma throttled the All-Stars, 3-1, in 2013.
