Gratis Eventos Familiares Durante Fiesta Fin de Semana de la Familia - May 15, 16, y 17 
Pensacola--Fiesta de las Cinco Banderas se enorgullece en presentar el Fiesta de Fin de Semana Familiar que ahora incluye tres eventos de la comunidad de regalías: Pen Air Gran Fiesta Day Parade, Tesoro del Fiesta Infantil Hunt y Concurso de Escultura Fiesta Arena.
     Cuentas, bandas y carrozas! Únase a nosotros el viernes 15 de mayo en la ciudad de Pensacola para el 60ª anual Air Pen Gran Fiesta Day Parade. Venga a tomar un poco de cuentas, escuchar los sonidos de bandas de música de la escuela secundaria local, y disfrutar viendo hermosas carrozas desfilando por el centro a partir de las 7:30 p.m. Los organizadores del desfile están emocionados de anunciar al capitán Edward L. Heflin como el Grand Marshal para el evento. El Capitán Heflin es un graduado de Strike Fighter Tactics Instructor (TOPGUN), y un graduado distinguido de la National War College, donde obtuvo una Maestría en Ciencias en la Estrategia de Seguridad Nacional. Sus tareas de servicio en tierra incluyen tours como instructor en las Armas y Escuelas Tácticas, Atlántico; bandera ayudante del Comandante, EE.UU Fuerzas Comando de Flota; Oficial de Operaciones con los "Gladiators" de VFA-106; y Jefe de la División de Gestión de Fuerza Global asignada al Director Adjunto Regional, Gestión de Fuerza, y el futuro de Operaciones de la Dirección de Operaciones (J-3) en el Estado Mayor Conjunto. El capitán Heflin mando del  Training Air Wing SIX asumió en agosto del 2014. El capitán Heflin dirigirá la ruta del desfile que comienza en las calles Garden y Spring y viajará al este en Garden hacia Palafox. El recorrido continuará hasta Wright Street, donde se volverá hacia el sur en la calle Palafox, terminando en Bayfront Parkway. Traiga a toda la familia a uno de los eventos Fiesta favoritas de Pensacola. Además de las decenas de comparsas locales desfilando, apariciones especiales se harán por un enmascarado DeLuna LXVI, su reina y su corte.
     Fiesta Children's Treasure Hunt tendrá lugar en Bayview Park-East Hill el sábado 16 de mayo con el registro a partir de las 11 a.m. y la caza a partir de las 2 p.m. Los niños, de edades 10 y menores, disfrutarán aprendiendo sobre la rica historia de Pensacola mientras buscaba monedas ocultas de todo el parque y redimir por premios. Además de la caza del tesoro, las familias pueden disfrutar de pintura de caras, juegos de carnaval, y la música. Todos los participantes inscritos recibirán una bolsa de premios, además de estar registrados para ganar grandes premios GRATIS incluyendo bicicletas, sistemas de juego, scooters, tarjetas de regalo y más. Al mediodía, GRATIS chicken fingers, hotdogs y productos Buffalo Rock Pepsi también estarán disponibles para los participantes y miembros de la familia.
     Después de la diversión de la caza del tesoro del sábado, apoderarse de su cubo de playa y pala antes de salir a la playa para otro día de diversión en el sol. La Fiesta Sand Sculpture Contest tendrá lugar en la playa de Pensacola el 17 de mayo 8 a.m. a 2 p.m. Todas las edades y niveles de experiencia son bienvenidos a participar. El concurso es gratuito y los participantes pueden entrar los jóvenes, adolescente, o divisiones adultos con premios en metálico en juego. La inscripción comienza a las 8 a.m, el juzgado comienzara a la 1 pm, y la entrega de premios comienza a las 2 p.m. Los espectadores están invitados a venir y disfrutar de otras actividades divertidas y votar por su escultura favorita en el "People's Choice Award".

 Free Family Events During Fiesta Family Weekend – May 15, 16, & 17
Pensacola—Fiesta of Five Flags is proud to present the Fiesta Family Weekend which now includes three FREE community events: Pen Air Grand Fiesta Parade, Fiesta Children’s Treasure Hunt and Fiesta Sand Sculpture Contest.
     Beads, bands, and floats! Join us on Friday, May 15 in downtown Pensacola for the 66th annual Pen Air Grand Fiesta Day Parade. Come catch some beads, hear the sounds of local high school marching bands, and enjoy watching beautiful floats parade through downtown beginning at 7:30 p.m. Organizers of the parade are excited to announce Captain Edward L. Heflin as the Grand Marshal for the event. Captain Heflin is a graduate of the Strike Fighter Tactics Instructor (TOPGUN) course, and a Distinguished Graduate of the National War College where he earned a Master of Science Degree in National Security Strategy. His shore duty assignments include tours as an instructor at the Strike Weapons and Tactics School, Atlantic; flag aide to the Commander, U.S. Fleet Forces Command; Operations Officer with the “GLADIATORS” of VFA-106; and Division Chief for Global Force Management assigned to the Deputy Director for Regional, Force Management, and Future Operations in the Operations Directorate (J-3) on the Joint Staff. Captain Heflin assumed command of Training Air Wing SIX in August 2014. Captain Heflin will lead the parade route beginning at Garden and Spring Streets and will travel east on Garden to Palafox Street. The route will continue until Wright Street, where it will turn south onto Palafox Street, ending at Bayfront Parkway. Bring the entire family to one of Pensacola’s favorite Fiesta events. In addition to the dozens of local krewes parading, special appearances will be made by a masked DeLuna LXVI, his queen and their court.
     The Fiesta Children’s Treasure Hunt will take place in Bayview Park-East Hill on Saturday, May 16 with registration beginning at 11 a.m. and the hunt beginning at 2 p.m.  Children, ages 10 and under, will enjoy learning about Pensacola’s rich history while searching for hidden coins throughout the park and redeeming them for prizes.  In addition to treasure hunting, families can enjoy face painting, carnival games, and music.  All registered participants will receive a prize bag in addition to being registered to win FREE grand prizes including bicycles, gaming systems, scooters, gift cards, and more.  At noon, FREE chicken fingers, hotdogs and Buffalo Rock Pepsi products will also be available to participants and family members.
     After Saturday’s Treasure Hunt fun, grab your beach pail and shovel before heading out to the beach for another day of fun in the sun.  The Fiesta Sand Sculpture Contest will take place at Pensacola Beach on May 17 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. All ages and levels of expertise are welcome to participate.  The competition is FREE and participants may enter the youth, teen, or adult divisions with cash prizes up for grabs.  Registration begins at 8 a.m., judging begins at 1 p.m., and the presentation of awards begins at 2 p.m.  Spectators are invited to come out and enjoy other fun activities and vote for their favorite sculpture in the “People’s Choice Award”.
