Festival Billy Bowlegs Pirate: Junio 4-6
Billy Bowlegs Pirate Festival in Ft. Walton BeachFort Walton Beach, FL—Si nos fijamos en el horizonte, es posible espiar al Capt. Billy Bowlegs LX y su tripulación pirata, trazar su curso hacia Fort Walton Beach, donde están seguros de invadir la ciudad, por la 60º ves en algún momento el Festival Billy Bowlegs Pirate, que tendrá lugar del 04 de junio al 6. Esta es la Celebración Diamante del Festival, y es seguro que será una ocasión muy especial.
     La noche del jueves, 04 de junio, habrá una oportunidad para "Festejar con los Piratas" en Fort Walton Beach Landing, cuando miembros del Krewe den inicio a Bowlegs Pub Crawl en el Landing a las 6 p.m. Alimento y bebidas estarán disponibles a la venta de los vendedores en el Pirate Village, y habrá música y diversión proporcionada por Tom Mason y los Blue  Buccaneers.
     Hay mucho para los niños tambien para hacer! Los comerciantes del centro presentarán su anual Little Scallywags Pirate Walk de 4 a 6 p.m. - ven vestido con disfraz, y Trick or Treat a través de las tiendas del centro. De vuelta en el Landing, los niños podran jugar en el PMI Pirates Play Zone, que estará abierto de 5 al 8 p.m. el jueves por la noche.
     El recinto del festival en el Landing se abrirán a las 3 p.m. el viernes 5 de junio, y Rossi tocara de 3:30 - 5:30 p.m., seguido por los bailarines Kasba y "Defense of the City” demostración de Reed's Raiders a las 6 p.m. El Capt. Billy y su Krewe anclarán en el Landing alrededor de las 7 p.m. para su misión de reconocimiento y un enfrentamiento con el alcalde y los Reed's Raiders. Esto será seguido por la buena música de "Heritage", que entretendrá a la multitud hasta que los fuegos artificiales, patrocinados por CenturyLink, cominsen a las 9 p.m.
     El sábado, 6 de junio el recinto del festival se abrirán a las 10 a.m. El día estará lleno de diversión pirata y música, con Déjà vu tocando en el escenario Apex Stage desde 1 p.m. hasta 3 p.m. Se espera que los piratas ataquen a la ciudad aproximadamente a las 4 de la tarde. Vamos a ver si el alcalde Anderson tendrá éxito en repeler la invasión del Capt. De Billy este año. Después de ese momento de suspenso, Cherri One va a entretener a la multitud, y el Festival se cerrará a las 6 p.m.
     A lo largo del Festival, habrá entretenimiento en el escenario principal, patrocinado por Apex Broadcasting , y habrá para los niños un gran Pirate Play Zone patrocinado por PMI. Pulseras para niños, permite el acceso ilimitado a todas las atracciones para niños, estarán disponibles todos los días. El costo será de $10 por pulsera el jueves $15 cada uno el viernes y el sábado (no hay pulseras disponibles de varios días). Las atracciones incluirán la pared de roca, Euro-Bungee y Paseo del Espacio atracciones interactivas de Fort Walton y Crestview.
     El desfile de antorchas, patrocinado por WindCreek Atmore, será el lunes 8 de junio, a las 7 p.m.. Las carrozas del desfile terminarán su camino desde la First Street hasta Eglin Parkway, con multitudes que griten por las perlas y les lanzaran desde las carrozas festivas.

 Billy Bowlegs Pirate Festival: June 4-6
Billy Bowlegs Pirate Festival in Ft. Walton BeachFort Walton Beach, FL—If you look just over the horizon, you might spy Capt. Billy Bowlegs LX and his pirate crew, charting their course for Fort Walton Beach, where they’re sure to invade  the city for the 60th time sometime during the Billy Bowlegs Pirate Festival, which takes place from June 4 through 6. This is the Diamond Celebration of the Festival, and it’s sure to be an extra-special occasion.
     On Thursday night, June 4, there will be an opportunity to “Party with the Pirates” at the Fort Walton Beach Landing, as members of the Krewe kick off the Bowlegs Pub Crawl at the Landing at 6 p.m. Food and beverages will be available for purchase from the vendors in the Pirate Village, and there will be music and revelry supplied by Tom Mason and the Blue Buccaneers. 
     There’s plenty for the kids to do as well! The Downtown Merchants will present their annual Little Scallywags Pirate Walk from 4 to 6 pm – come dressed in costume, and Trick or Treat through the downtown stores. Back at the Landing, the kids can work off all that sugar in the PMI Pirates’ Play Zone, which will be open from 5 to 8 pm on Thursday evening. 
     The Festival grounds at the Landing will open at 3 pm on Friday, June 5, and Rossi will play from 3:30 to 5:30 pm, followed by the Kasba Dancers and a “Defense of the City” demonstration by Reed’s Raiders at 60 pm.  Capt. Billy and his Krewe will dock at the Landing around 7 pm for his reconnaissance mission and a skirmish with the Mayor and Reed’s Raiders.  That will be followed by great music from “Heritage”, who will entertain the crowd until the fireworks, sponsored by CenturyLink, starting at 9 pm. 
     On Saturday, June 6, the Festival grounds will open at 10 am.  The day will be filled with pirate revelry and music, with Déjà vu playing on the Apex Stage from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. The pirates are expected to attack the City at approximately 4 pm.  Let’s see if Mayor Anderson will have success in repelling Capt. Billy’s invasion this year.  After that suspenseful moment, Cherri One will entertain the crowd, and the Festival will close at 6 pm. 
     Throughout the Festival, there will be entertainment on the main stage, sponsored by Apex Broadcasting, and there will be a large kids’ Pirate Play Zone sponsored by PMI.  Kids’ bracelets, allowing unlimited access to all the children’s attractions, will be available each day.  The cost will be $10 per bracelet on Thursday, and $15 each on Friday and Saturday (no multi-day bracelets available).  Attractions will include the rock wall, Euro-Bungee, and Space Walk of Fort Walton and Crestview interactive attractions.  
     The Torchlight Parade, sponsored by WindCreek Atmore, will be on Monday, June 8, at 7 pm.  The parade floats will wind their way from First Street up Eglin Parkway, with crowds screaming for beads and throws from the festive floats.
