Benítez se Hace Cargo del Real Madrid
Madrid, España—Rafael Benítez ha sido nombrado como técnico del Real Madrid, el llegó al club con un contrato de tres años.
     Benítez logró dirigir al equipo B del Real Madrid hace 20 años, y regresa al club después de exitosas temporadas con Valencia , Liverpool , Chelsea y Napoli, entre otros.
     El ex técnico del Real Madrid, Carlo Ancelotti, abandonó el club al final de la temporada, mientras que Benítez llega después de dirigir al Napoli a un quinto lugar en la Serie A en la temporada pasada en la liga Italiana.
     Después de salir del Madrid , Benítez ayudó al Valencia a ganar dos títulos de Liga, así como llegar a la final de la Champions League dos  años consecutivos.
     Benitez estaba al frente cuando el Liverpool ganó una memorable final de la Champions League en 2005, y ayudó a regresar en el 2007, aunque los Rojos perdieron contra Ancelotti- que dirigió el equipo AC Milan.
     Benítez pasó una breve temporada en el Inter de Milán antes de pasar al Chelsea , donde ganó la Europa League, antes de ser nombrado como tenico del Napoli de cara a la temporada 2012-13.
     Ahora Benítez vuelve a casa a donde comenzó ambas carreras como jugador y técnico, a los 55-años de edad, sabe la difícil tarea que tiene delante de él.
     "La demanda y el punto de partida es diferente con respecto a cuando se dio a conocer en el Liverpool ", Benítez dijo el miércoles. "Cuando llegué a Liverpool , yo tenía tres años para ayudar al club a convertirse en competitivo. Aquí, desde el primer minuto, tenemos que competir y asegurarnos de estar siempre en la cima."
     Real Madrid terminó segundo tras el Barcelona en La Liga esta temporada, mientras que fue eliminado de la Champions League por el Juventus en la ronda semifinal.
     "Es un día muy emotivo, muy especial", dijo un Benítez emocionado. "He trabajado muy duro para lograr el éxito y volver a casa, que era un objetivo mío. El ciclo se completa pero espero que dure mucho tiempo. Espero que las cosas vayan bien y que podamos ganar títulos".

 

 

 Benitez Takes Charge at Real Madrid 
Madrid, Spain—Rafael Benitez has been appointed as the manager at Real Madrid, joining the club on a three-year contract.
     Benitez managed Real Madrid's B team 20 years ago, and he returns to the club after successful spells with Valencia , Liverpool, Chelsea and Napoli among others.
     Former Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti left the club at the end of the season, while Benitez arrives after guiding Napoli to a fifth-place finish in Serie A this past season.
     After leaving Madrid , Benitez helped Valencia win two La Liga titles as well as reach the Champions League final in back-to-back years.
     He was at the helm when Liverpool won a memorable Champions League final in 2005, and helped them return in 2007, although the Reds lost to an Ancelotti- led AC Milan team.
     Benitez spent a brief stint at Inter Milan before moving on to Chelsea , where he won the Europa League, prior to being appointed Napoli 's head man ahead of the 2012-13 season.
     Now Benitez returns home to where he began both his playing and coaching careers, and the 55-year-old knows the daunting task in front of him.
     "The demand and the starting point is different with respect to when I was unveiled at Liverpool ," Benitez said Wednesday. "When I arrived at Liverpool , I had three years to help the club become competitive. Here, from the first minute, we have to compete and make sure we're always at the top."
     Real Madrid finished second to Barcelona in La Liga this season, while being knocked out of the Champions League by Juventus in the semifinal round.
     "It's an emotional day, a very special one," said an emotional Benitez. "I have worked very hard to achieve success and return home, which was an aim of mine. The cycle is completed but I hope it lasts a long time. I hope things go well and we can win titles."
