Declaración de OCSO en Tiroteos Recientes
"La Oficina del Sheriff del condado de Okaloosa en cooperación con el Departamento de Policía de Fort Walton Beach y otras entidades locales de la ley estan investigando agresivamente una ola de tiroteos recientes. Toda la evidencia y la información recopilada hasta la fecha indica que ninguno de estos tiroteos son actos al azar, sino que son violentos enfrentamientos entre conocidos o por lo menos las personas que se conocen entre sí.  OCSO Statement on Recent Shootings
“The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office in cooperation with the Ft Walton Beach Police Department and other local law enforcement entities is aggressively investigating a rash of recent shootings. All evidence and information collected to date indicates none of these shootings are random acts, but are violent confrontations between acquaintances or at least individuals who are known to each other. There is no reason to believe a specific threat exists to the general public regarding any of these shootings, however, all of us should be gravely concerned with the ever increasing level of violence on our streets and in our neighborhoods. Accordingly, we strongly encourage anyone with information about any of these shootings or any other crimes to contact the Sheriff’s Criminal Investigations Division at 850-609-2000 or Emerald Coast Crime Stoppers at 850-863-8477 (TIPS), emeraldcoastcrimestoppers.com or by texting “TIP 214 plus your message” to Crimes (274637).
     Because all of these cases are actively being investigated no additional details can be released at this time. Should information be developed indicating a threat to the general public exists public safety advisories will be issued immediately.”
