El Mes de la Herencia Hispana Ofrece dos Meses de Eventos en la Costa del Golfo
PESACOLA.-- La Costa Latina y el Hispanic Resource Center están organizando y uniéndose a otros eventos para crear una serie de eventos durante septiembre y octubre en celebración del Mes de la Herencia Hispana (sept. 15--oct.15). La mayoria de los eventos son gratis y están abiertos al público. La lista de los eventos será anunciada en la página de Facebook de La Costa Latina, en el sitio web y en la próxima edición (sept.4) de La Costa Latina.
Los eventos tendrán lugar en Pensacola y están programados cada semana en septiembre y octubre. Incluyen Zumbafest, Paruanada, un documental de "En Dos Frentes: Latinos en Vietnam," Rodeo estilo Mexicano, una feria de salud Latina, "Latin Jam," una pelicula al aire libre, en Español, "Dia de Los Muertos" y el gran final anual del Festival Latino.

Hispanic Heritage Month Brings Two Months of Events to the Gulf Coast
PENSACOLA—La Costa Latina and the Hispanic Resource Center are organizing and teaming up with other events to create a series of events throughout September and October in observance of Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15 – October 15). Most events are free and open to the public. A list of the events will be announced on the La Costa Latina Facebook page, website, and in the next edition (September 4) of La Costa Latina.
Events will all take place in Pensacola and are scheduled for almost every week in September and October. They include Zumbafest, Paruanada, documentary screening of “On Two Fronts: Latinos in Vietnam,” Mexican-style rodeo, a Latino health fair, “Latin Jam,” an outdoor movie in Spanish, a “Dia de los Muertos” event, and the annual Latino Festival as the grand finale.
We will need volunteers for some of these events. Vendor and sponsorship opportunities will also become available on August 26. Please contact La Costa Latina Newspaper at 850-494-7899 for details.
