OCSO Investigan Accidente de trancito Mortal en Destin
Destin, Fla.—Oficina del Sheriff del condado de Okaloosa está investigando un grave accidente que tuvo lugar en Destin poco antes de las 2 p.m. el viernes 8 de abril, cuando un automovil y un camión de entrega chocaron en el Highway 98, cerca a Legendary Drive .
      Una mujer pasajera del Chevrolet Impala negro, que chocó con el camión de reparto en la intersección de Crystal Beach Drive, murió esta tarde en el Sacred Heart Hospital de Emerald Coast.
      Su esposo, el conductor del coche, se encuentra en estado crítico en el Sacred Heart Hospital en Pensacola.
      Los investigadores dicen que la pareja es de Colorado. Sus nombres se mantienen en reserva, a la espera del proceso de localizar y notificar a los familiares.
      El conductor del camión de reparto también resultó herido y fue trasladado a Fort Walton Beach Medical Center para el tratamiento de las lesiones no mortales.
      Los carriles hacia el este de la carretera 98 en esa zona permanecieron cerrados y el tráfico seguia siendo desviado hasta las 4:30 p.m.

 

 OCSO Investigating Fatal Traffic Crash in Destin
DESTIN, Fla.—The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a serious accident that took place in Destin shortly before 2 p.m. on Friday, April 8, when a car and delivery truck collided on Highway 98 near Legendary Drive.
     A female passenger in a black Chevrolet Impala, which collided with a delivery truck at the intersection of Crystal Beach Drive, died this evening at Sacred Heart Hospital of the Emerald Coast .
     Her husband, the driver of the car, is in critical condition at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola .
     Investigators say the couple is from Colorado. Their names are being withheld, pending the process of locating and notifying family members.
     The driver of the delivery truck was also injured and was taken to Fort Walton Beach Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
     The eastbound lanes of Highway 98 in that area remain closed and traffic was still being rerouted at 4:30 p.m.
